After a very busy couple months we are back to work. Between one kid sick, one kid coming home for a visit, and a bout of Covid it has been a wild ride. Since I last updated, we have made quite a bit of progress.
Brady and his friend Mark have gotten quite a bit of the new metal on the roof.

We have removed the kitchen window in preparation to bulk up the wall for one of the two ridgeback beams to sit on. We removed the last remaining wall from the dining/kitchen area and installed a temporary wall until the 2 ridgebacks are installed.

We have finished up getting the floor and roof leveled and all new floor joist in. This was by far the biggest improvement in the entire house. It has been years since the floor and roof were level. When we began this project there was a full 6″ drop in the floor where the joists and main beams were rotted out. Now thanks to Brady the house is FINALLY LEVEL!

We have gutted what will be the laundry/mud room.

Chastin helped out with gutting both the master bath and the hall bath.

We have the cleanest crawl space in Clarke County, and its finally dry!

Next up is repairing the last of the rot from water leaks in the bathrooms and HVAC closet. Then we install the ridgeback beams!
