The dumpster is GONE!. . . .and never to return. Brady has been working hard on the roof for the past several weeks and we are so close to showing off the brand new metal roof. But for now all you get to see is a very nice picture of our yard without the massive dumpster. I’m sure our neighbors are thrilled that its gone, I know I am. Directions to the house no longer include “its the really ugly one with the BIG blue dumpster in the yard.”

We have completely torn out both bathrooms, including the old cast iron poop tree, and the former HVAC closet (future pantry). If you ever have a plumbing issue, I can assure you the solution is NOT to gently place a PVC pipe into the side of the cast iron drain tree and allow toilet “things” to congeal around it to form a very nasty seal. There is also quite a bit of rot (no surprise to anyone at this point) in both baths and the HVAC closet.
The current storage room (my soon to be laundry room) has been demolished and is ready to be rebuilt.

Duct work has been removed so that we can place both ridgeback beams and get rid of all of the temporary wall craziness.

We have been talking about having new subfloor since we took out the first piece of rotten flooring and last night, we FINALLY purchased our 26 sheets of brand new plywood subfloor.
