We finally have 2 bathrooms again! The floor joists are new, the subfloor is new, it’s all new! They aren’t the biggest bathrooms in the world, but I sure will be glad to have them functional. I’m sure the gas station up the road will miss us when we have our very own bathroom to use. They will lose a lot of Powerade sales though.
We also have the framing in for the first of two sets of French doors going into the house. The first set will open from the living room out to the screened porch/outdoor kitchen. We are starting to re-insulate the house starting with the open sections of exterior wall. Once the house is closed in and the HVAC is installed, we will start putting in fiberglass insulation and drywall.
