Excavator week is OVER! Brady is sad, but after listening to the beep….beep…beep of the excavator every time he moved, I’m sure the neighbors were ecstatic to see it leave. Brady accomplished everything on MY list, but he said there were countless other things he could have done if rain hadn’t stopped progress the last two days.
The “Man Land” side of the back yard is prepped for his shop and trailer storage.

The pad for the deck has been prettied up. The old chain link fence has also been removed in preparation for the cat fence and tunnels on the “Cat Lady Cul-de-sac” side of the back yard. Brady has told me several times now, that the highlight of his home renovation career will be installing a privacy fence and cat tunnel system for my boys. I’m 100% sure that he was lying, but the boys and I will be forever appreciative.

All bushes and trees are GONE!! I have a fresh slate for planting pretty things this spring.

The street side dump site has been cleaned up; it no longer looks like a nuclear waste dumping site.

Chastin came home for the weekend and discovered she has quite the knack for heavy equipment operation (not in this picture though, she was enjoying how spinny the excavator was). All while the head boss supervised of course.
