Meet Steve, the HUGE spider living on our not so screened in porch. He’s huge and I want him to die but Brady likes to watch him wrap up and eat bugs.
This weekend was the end of demo and the beginning of putting it back together. The attic is completely ready for electrical to be ran (all AC ducts, ceiling vents, and trunk line have been removed). I’m sure at this point our neighbors are amazed at the shear amount of stuff we have drug out of the house. Every weekend for 7 months we have either worked at filling the dumpster or made huge piles beside the road. The new HVAC unit is going under the house so no more ceiling vents. I labeled all electrical going back into the house for Brady. Getting to choose where every switch and plug is going to be is wonderful, but stressful (I’m sure I didn’t account for something!).
We decided to pull down all walls of drywall in the living room to completely get rid of the water damage and removed the last pieces of laundry room and hallway ceiling dry wall. We’ve said it at least 20 times so far, but I think demo is pretty much done! We have a little more demo to deal with on the not so screened in porch, but HOPEFULLY that is it!
