Big Trucks in a small neighborhood make for an interesting day. Regular size box trucks fit just fine but full size 18-wheelers are just a little too tall to fit underneath the power/phone lines. When our fireplace stuff was delivered the truck had to stop at the entrance to the neighborhood and the driver and I unloaded from his truck into my SUV. All was fine and great until the school bus pulled up behind us trying to get down into our neighborhood. At this point my hands are full, we have an entire pallet to unload and my former assistant principal plus several kids I taught are looking out the windshield of the bus waving to me. What a day! Thankfully the rest of the big deliveries weren’t nearly as eventful.
And, the dishwasher being delivered. All of the appliances are here and waiting for installation.
We picked this one up ourselves but still a lot of pretty materials coming into the house. This is the stone that will be on the fireplace, and a few other fun places I can’t wait to show off. This is real stone that can but cut but is on a sheet for easy installation. We are very excited to use this.
